.To ensure safe handling and use of substances;
.To provide information instruction and supervision for employees;
.To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate

.Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals

Q-VET ENERGY SUPPLIES Worker Protection Policy
We ensure the workplace is arranged to prevent injury to workers. Materials, tools, and controls within easy reach.
Seated workers have suitable chairs.
Standing workers should be accommodated.
Measures should be in place to avoid heavy lifting by workers.
Workers should be effectively trained to use machines and equipment, and proper guards should be installed on all dangerous parts of machines and equipment.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be provided to protect workers from workplace hazards (e.g., hazardous chemicals or high noise levels). However, PPE is a last resort and should be used only when a hazard cannot be eliminated or controlled. Workers must be trained in the use of PPE.
Employers should ensure that employees take reasonable care for their own safety, follow instructions, use safety devices and PPE correctly, and report hazards, accidents and injuries. Workers must receive the supervision, information and training required to work safely, and should have the right to remove themselves from a work situation if they believe that there is an imminent and serious risk to their life or health.
